POCUS For Acute Dyspnea in ED

Over the last 10-15 years, POCUS has become commonly used application in the evaluation of patients presenting with acute dyspnea in the emergenecy department. However, opinion regarding its utility varies, from being seen as an over-rated toy to under-utilised tool. In this narrative review, the presenter will examine and evaluate the role of POCUS, its limitation and potential development for this cardinal presentation in the emergency setting.
